So this is the land of the free?
I beg to disagree!
Shackles and chains hold me here
The media keeps me in fear

Turn on your TV
What do you see?
(Death, Disease, Prostitution, Terrorism, Obesity, War, Racism, Drugs, Suicide, Controversy, Radiation, Hate, Lies)
Negativity!

Are we free?

Are we free to say what’s on our minds anytime and not worry about consequences?
Are we free to do what we got to do just to stop living our lives in the trenches?
Every time I try to say what needs to be said, I get censored
Every time I try to do what needs to be done, I can feel the gun against my head

How much longer will we succumb to everything that they do?
When will we take a stand?
How about tonight!
So raise your hands
It’s time to rise!
